Our
High Brooms 
partnership

Since 2022 we have delivered a number of activities for the community at Toc H High Brooms. In response to overwhelming demand from across Kent, we are currently seeking to increase our offer supporting children with learning disabilities and their families. 

In 2025/2026:

  • 30 families regularly using our services for children with learning disabilities and their families

 

  • 26 children supported to remain in education

 

  • 30 families supported to claim financial assistance, including DLA/foodbanks

 

  • 91% parents say our activities have improved their mental health/the mental health of their child

 

  • 98% parents say their child has made new friendships through our activities

 

  • 96% parents say they have received practical advice through our activities, including support with parenting challenges, schooling/EHCPs or claiming DLA.

Stay & Play

Running every Monday & Wednesday, 9:30 – 11am during term time

For babies & children 0-5 years with their parents/carers/grandparents to meet, play & make new friends.  

Multi-Sport Youth Session

Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00pm

For ages 8+, team sports, games and challenges, safe, supervised and fun. Contact info@sportonyourdoorstep.co.uk to reserve your spot.

Sew & Chat

Tuesdays, 10-12 noon

An opportunity to get together & meet other community members whilst being creative.  This is a voluntary led group, so whether you're starting a new project or bringing along an existing project, we trust you’ll inspire one another.

Adult Box Fitness

Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00pm

An opportunity for adults to get physical & have fun whilst taking part in Box Fitness, delivered in partnership with Olympia Boxing.  For men & women. Contact info@sportonyourdoorstep.co.uk for more information.

Neurospicy

Thursdays, 9:30-11:00am

The group is aimed at supporting parents/carers of Neurospicy children so they can feel uplifted and not alone. There are toys/activities for ages 0-10ish, including Lego, playdough, sensory toys, cars and a trampoline to name a few activities to keep the children entertained so parents/carers can relax a little.

We also deliver a wide variety of one-off events from Family Fun Days in the holidays, Community Lunches to Pop-Up shops!  Keep up-to-date by checking here and our Facebook page.
