Eveswell

Eveswell
Toc H Eveswell was established in the 1970s and has served the local community for many years. The Covid pandemic was a particularly challenging period, and the Branch came close to closure. However, Carol, a long-standing member of Toc H Newport, remained committed to the vision of supporting the local community. Through her determination, the Branch was relaunched, new members were recruited, and the Branch Management Committee was refreshed. With renewed energy and support, funding was secured to refurbish the community centre. Since then, the centre has been transformed and has become home to a growing range of activities, including support for families and children, the popular Eve's Haven project, and a variety of arts and creative programmes. Today, Toc H Eveswell continues to grow as a welcoming community hub, bringing people together and creating opportunities for connection, creativity and support.

Thanks to the support from UK and Welsh Governments and a number of private funders, we have been able to fully renovate our building in Eveswell, making our facilities environmentally sustainable and fit for purpose to support the community in the long term. Our centre provides dependable, community-focused spaces for individuals and families to access much needed health and wellbeing support.
We offer numerous free activities, events and services at the Centre, including play events for young families, community meals, peer support groups, a youth club, digital inclusion services and arts groups.
